Bathroom Object and Creative Direction

IDEA: In order to create white space around the products I could place white tiles which would give the idea of a bathroom ?

I have decided to use the bathroom-shaving mirror. Firstly because the colour fits in and creates more of masculine feeling to the shoot. It simple and not too complicated. In addition to this, the mirror reflection part could create an interesting image. It reminds the viewer of a male’s bathroom, and its clean lines could help create an interesting shot, like the briefcase did. As in my previous shoot the products were placed inside one object, and created a lot of white space. The products will thus be placed around this mirror, placed very carefully straight on, organised in a rigid structured form to create the feeling of power, control and masculinity. There will not many colours, mostly black, white, grey and silver. Keeping to the image of Obama, straightforward, simple, powerful man. The products and the way they are placed could allude to soldiers standing in line.

Products I have decided to use:
I have chosen these based on the brand and how well it suits Obama, and the colour and shapes of the products to make sure they all work well together.
-          Cologne à BVLGARI – the brand is sophisticated and catered towards the middle aged older man.
-          Shaving cream à American brand, which is sleek and focuses on men’s beauty. Nothing to out of the ordinary, conservative brand which is high end
-          Gilette Razor à American brand, which produces top quality razors
-          After Shave balm à Obama’s skin is always look fresh and smooth, using American bran, Calvin Klein. A classic brand, at the higher end of the market
-          Deodorant à Everyman needs to wear deodorant, I have chosen the spray on Hugo Boss deodorant. An American brand which sophisticated, high end and classic and  a man cant go wrong by. Its not your average Rexona or Nivea, its more niche and exclusive – something which Obama would buy.
