3 Chosen shots to use in my magazine
Other shots which I think are great!
Overall I am quite happy with these shots, I believe they do reflect the mentally sick image that Rachel and I were trying to achieve. This was done through the stylistic elements - choice of colour palette and the minimal hair and make up used were contributers. However I do think the model choice could have been better, Courtney was perfect however Bianca was a bit harsh. So I just need to learn from this, when choosing a model for the next shoot. The top image of Courtney in the bath, is my favourite shot. The reason for this; is overall all the elements work really well together. The simplistic yet powerful styling, the chosen location of the bath and the pose of Courtney have all helped to complement one another.
This photoshoot would belong in i-D magazine, the raw and honest nature suits the magazines style. The issue explored in this shoot was quite confronting and less mainstream which I think suits the ideals of the independent magazine itself. The independent media states how i-D magazine "now documents high fashion too, its still laced with the same rebellious spirit as was present in its early issues". This quote definately proves how the photoshoot above fufills these requirements.
